NILABH MOZUMDAR
My journey into filmmaking commenced unexpectedly some 10 years ago with a music video project that landed in my lap due to circumstances beyond my control. Despite lacking any prior knowledge of filmmaking techniques, I embraced the challenge and decided to dive in headfirst. Now, reflecting on the past decade, I realize how far I've come. It's taken me this long to truly grasp the intricacies of the craft, to understand the nuances of storytelling and visual language. Yet, even now, I recognize that my journey is far from over. In another ten years, I'll likely look back on these past twenty years with the same sense of growth and realization, knowing that there's always more to learn and explore in the ever-evolving world of filmmaking.

My storytelling centers on the lives of ordinary individuals confronting adversity and evolving to surmount it. Through their journeys, I aim to reflect a mirror to our own potential responses, emphasizing the significance of empathy and understanding in societal progress. While acknowledging my perspective may carry bias, I leave it to the audience to discern.

Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to collaborate with individuals who shared my vision, contributing to the realization of acclaimed works such as 'Love is Love' and 'Khwaiyshein.' My repertoire extends beyond narrative pieces to encompass adverts and documentaries, all featured on my website.

As I continue honing my craft and expanding my creative horizons, I find myself immersed in the vibrant landscape of London, where each experience serves as a catalyst for growth and evolution.
